The Barbie Room at Hôtel Plaza Athénée
For a limited time, at Hôtel Plaza Athénée, you can get your little girl her own Barbie room. It looks like someone threw up pink in this room with everything being pink and white with the Barbie label. It's part of a suite that will run 1,600 euros a night, with the attached parents room. Room is only suitable for children 3 yrs old to 16 yrs old and will be available from Aug 6th to Sept 2nd. Personally this may be the ugliest room I've ever seen...spoiled rich kids will get it done though.
P.S. This hotel is GREAT!

Hope Dworaczyk x Playboy 3D – FTW – Beautiful Women
Wow, shouts to TOW for putting me on. They have my $5.
Apparently, back in the ’50s when Hugh Hefner started Playboy, he wanted his first centerfold to be in 3-D, but he could not afford the cost of putting glasses in the magazine. Well, playboy now has the means, and they also have Playmate of the Year Hope Dworaczyk, and my idol Hef’s dream comes true in the June 2010 issue of Playboy. The edition hits newsstands Friday May 14.
C’mon now … this is TOW – Hit the jump to see if Hope is worth dropping the 5 for the mag and glasses ….
***spoiler alert*** She is….

Landon Donovan shares some thoughts on playing England in the World Cup
Donovan is starting is talking and words about Rooney probably isn't the brightest decision but I like his brash. Rooney is probably one of a handful of footballers I don't want to see in a bar fight. Check out Donovan's interview with Yahoo.
Blackberry Bold slider launching in June at AT&T
Blackberry OS 6 its finally nearing but going up against the next generation iPhone in June...not a good move BB. We all love our BB's but a new OS that hasn't been tested in the form of a slider against the best selling phone in history, I guess they call this competition, ill advised or not. Hopefully the OS can hold up so I can finally put down my iPhone and go back to my true love the BB. Reports say it will be a June release so we'll see.
While June has usually been strictly roped off as “iPhone month” for AT&T, this year looks like it will be different. A couple of our RIM sources have informed us that the BlackBerry Bold 9800 slider will be making its public debut in June on AT&T. Those dates can slip a bit, but middle to end of June does seem to be what we are hearing. Also, we have confirmed that AT&T has placed an incredibly big order of the new handset, easily exceeding 1,000,000 units. AT&T will have an exclusive on the device (we have not confirmed the length — 3 months, 6 months, etc.) and it will obviously launch with the BlackBerry 6 operating system. If you are a CDMA lover, look for Sprint to get the device in Q4 of this year.

Nokia N8
Nokia consistly sellings the most handset worldwide and there is a reason, the phones are great phones. They also have the BEST camera's in a phone hands down. Once they get a more user friendly OS they should do better in the US market.
Blurring the lines between a phone with a camera and a camera with a phone, the Nokia N8 ($TBA) packs what might be the best cell phone cam yet with Nokia's slightly underwhelming but nevertheless new Symbian 3 operating system. The camera features a 12 megapixel sensor, Carl Ziess optics, a Xenon flash, and HD video recording, while the rest of the package includes a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen, HDMI output, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD slot, free Ovi Maps navigation, and compatibility with upcoming Qt apps.

The Pot Tourism of the Future
One of the few reasons I like Cali and trust the list is short for this NY'er!
With a measure to legalize marijuana for recreational, not just "medical" use on the November ballot, California growers are pondering the future of "pot tourism" and the possibility that we'll one day travel to taste different strains of weed the way we taste wine.

Mel Ramos: 50 Years of Pop Art
If you don't know you've now been educated.
“There’s nothing else in this crazy world/except for cars and girls,” sang New York punk band the Dictators on the 1975 album Go Girl Crazy. This lyric could also be the mantra for painter Mel Ramos, who is known for his depictions of streamlined female figures in pop-bright settings.
