Once agian Audi trying to stay ahead and doing a great job. The 2011 A8 will have an optional mobile hotspot capability. We've heard talk of this in the high-end Mecerdes line but Audi has decided for the base price of $78,400 you'll have the option to get a mobile hotspot that is yours (for a few dollars more of course, pricing for the option not yet set). The technology will require an active sim or a phone with SIM Access Profile and use Marvell and Harman Automotive tech to achieve Wi-fi/WLAN connection. Vastly different from Chysler's dealer installed UConnect in that this is a factory option and we all prefer factory installion.
