Ligne Roset Maly Bed

Ligne Roset Maly Bed is one of the illest beds I, personally, have ever seen and I want one...hopefully one day I'll have it. Go with the European sizes if you can its longer in width making for more room to sprawl out.

The concept of this bed revolves around a soft, welcoming central platform (slatted base + mattress) surrounded by asymmetrical horizontal panels, the rôle of which is both aesthetic and practical.

Dior Homme offers up this interesting new sweater, part of the brand’s latest designs for Fall 2010. The crewneck comes in a solid black colorway, with its lone detailing coming via a splatter motif on the neck. Definitely a nice contrast effect, although tough to pull off for most. Of course, being more concerned with hardware as we are, our excitement is focused on the rich blue hue that will adorn PS3 consoles bundled with the grandiosely delayed racing game over in Nippon this fall. The ¥35,980 ($421) Gran Turismo 5 Racing Pack will be composed of a Limited Edition copy of the game plus a repainted skinny PlayStation 3 with a 160GB hard drive. Cycle Design by Peter Varga

Slovakian designer Peter Varga has garnered significant praise over the last several years for his bicycle designs. In 2007, his master’s project (a folding bicycle) won a national prize for design. The previous year, the above shown Citycle took 8th at the International Bicycle Design Competition. And, finally, last year, Varga left that same competition with a merit prize – lifted for his design of a recumbent fixed gear bike.

Most exciting about all Varga’s work is that each and every bike appears a fun ride. (via Core 77).

This concept is wonderful, a phone that stands upright to show who's calling when it rings, and the design is plain DOPE. I've always been a Nokia fan though so I'm basis. Who do I need to call over at Nokia to get my hands on this? Trip to Irving, TX looks like its in my future.

How often do you miss a call because you just don’t notice your phone ringing? How much easier would it be to notice the ringing if your phone could stand up and announce itself? This super-fun concept Nokia phone, called the Nokia Kinetic, from design student Jeremy Innes-Hopkins was meant to be as playful as possible, which it achieves with its unusual talent.

The design innovations don’t end with the stand-out stand-up feature. The phone’s camera shutter button is located at the bottom right of the body, meaning that you hold the device just like a digital camera when taking a picture. The slightly thickened base of the phone makes it easy to grip, though it might be thick enough to discourage some people from wanting to carry it around.

Audi A8: Mobile Hotspot

Once agian Audi trying to stay ahead and doing a great job. The 2011 A8 will have an optional mobile hotspot capability. We've heard talk of this in the high-end Mecerdes line but Audi has decided for the base price of  $78,400 you'll have the option to get a mobile hotspot that is yours (for a few dollars more of course, pricing for the option not yet set). The technology will require an active sim or a phone with SIM Access Profile and use Marvell and Harman Automotive tech to achieve Wi-fi/WLAN connection. Vastly different from Chysler's dealer installed UConnect in that this is a factory option and we all prefer factory installion.

After several previews of the upcoming collaboration between Mexican beer brand Dos Equis and Kaws, we can finally reveal the full bottle design today. The New York artist worked on a bottle design for the Lager and the Amber, both featuring his “X Eyes” all over. For the moment it looks like the bottles will only be available in Mexico, starting September 2010.
