As part of Cartier's “Calibre de Cartier” collection which made its debut last year, the luxury brand has unveiled the Calibre de Cartier Astrotourbillon at this year’s SIHH in Geneva. The model features Cartier’s Calibre 9451 MC Astrotourbillon manual winding movement and the end all result looks stunning to say the least. Chopard Imperiale Women's Watches

The larger 40mm wide versions of this redo of the Chopard Imperiale collection (from the 1990s) don't look too far off from a man's model. Don't be mistaken though, these are watches for the ladies. In steel and rose gold, they will come in 36mm wide and 40mm wide versions. There are also alligator strap or metal bracelet options. Don't forget the available diamond decoration on the bezel. Dials have mother-of-pearl, while the look of the watches resemble what a man's watch dipped in fairy dust might look like. There is almost Cartier like quality to them, but the bold hands are all Chopard in design. The pieces are not only attractive, but also legible.

Porsche Design P'6612 Dashboard Le Mans 1970 Limited Edition

Limited to an edition of 917 pieces, the new Porsche Design P´6612 Dashboard Le Mans 1970 Limited Edition chronograph celebrates a key event in Porsche’s motor racing history – the day the legend that is Porsche became fact. The winning car – the legendary red-white-red Porsche 917 K bearing start number 23 – was driven by Porsche works drivers Hans Herrmann and Richard Attwood.
Porsche’s Type 917 set a series of benchmarks in 1970: its air-cooled 12-cylinder midship engine boasted a 4.5-litre displacement delivering 580 HP at 8400 rpm. The P´6612 Dashboard Le Mans 1970 Limited Edition picks up on the function and rigour of the legendary racing car. It embodies the values of Porsche Design, the luxury brand whose products express function, timelessness and purity of form. Sporting light-coloured numeric indices against a black background, its dial evokes the 917′s dashboard instruments. The black minute and hour hands feature a coating of white luminous material, while the seconds stop hand is red and bears a white tip. The sapphire crystal caseback bears the watch’s limited edition number and the inscription “Winner Le Mans 1970″ together with “917-023″ – the chassis number of the winning car.

U-Boat 1001 Diver

u boat 1001 diver watch U Boat 1001 Diver Preview

I'll just say WOW, always loved divers and U-Boat delievers as usual.

This is a preview of one of the three new watches that will be presented by U-Boat at Baselworld next month. The 1001, before its unusual features are unveiled, will be presented to the public in an aluminium technological casket, visible only through a riveted port hole, reminiscent of a deep abyss. On opening the box, the unusual nature of the 1001 will be immediately apparent, starting with the 55-millimetre diameter grade 2 natural titanium box, with the distinctive position of the rim protection on the left, helium valve and titanium plate bearing the serial number. The face is easy to read because it has hours, minutes, seconds and the date at 4 o'clock. There are supernova pigments with beige, orange or blue, which make the white U1001 writing in relief stand out.
