Tumi 35th Anniversary Collection

New luggage set anyone? Classic way to celebrate 35.

You might not know it from their typically modern, fabric-sided bags, but Tumi's been in the business for thirty-five years, and it's going back to the basics with the Tumi 35th Anniversary Collection ($300-$800). This original collection of leather bags includes a tote, an expandable duffel, a carry-on garment bag, a backpack, horizontal and vertical crossbodys, and a slim briefcase, all available in sienna and sometimes in traditional black. Classic and classy — just don't expect them to take the abuse of luggage handlers quite like their nylon siblings.

Gucci Vintage Carry-On

Gucci is my go to favorite for luggage, timeless classic and functional pieces, if you can afford it then try it. Saw this bag the other day and the size is perfect for those long weekend trips. Material is solid as well won't stain when roughed up. Frida Giannini, creative director, designed this classic piece and my hat goes off.

While I normally go for the Gucci carry on if you can't pony up for that, this Coach carry on is a great look. Coach's leather is timeless and the size is perfect for a quick weekend trip. Think this might be the back up bag. By the way checkin bag when your traveling...just don't do it get yourself a good carry-on and hope off the plane right to your destination.
